Living on his family's ancestral lands has opened the door to paranormal incidents, which have increased. Hamish's cousin Catherine has an ulterior motive for finding Hamish. As he suspects she wants something from him. The something she wants is again going to take him into a place he detests. The uncle he has never met has supposedly gone wandering in the Klondike gold fields for the 100 year anniversary of the actual discovery of gold. Catherine is begging Hamish to find her father. Hamish is in the center of a tangled family knot.
