But as Aunt Marion's Alzheimer's progresses, Joslyn and her brothers must face the reality that she alone can no longer care for her. As the siblings seek a long-term care facility, Joslyn realizes that life goes on, even in the face of tragedy and loss.

Adam Turner is worn out. After taking over as director of the failing memory care facility a year ago, he's turned the place into a thriving community for its residents. Now, all he wants is a few days off. But as he watches his Thanksgiving plans disappear in an unexpected winter storm, he's left wondering how much more he can handle -- until an unlikely invitation from a heartbroken woman brings him the respite he needs.

This year, all the characters from A Miracle Short Story series come together for Thanksgiving in an unusual place. As Aunt Marion regales their Thanksgiving guests with stories of love and loss, Joslyn and Adam realize there's more to give thanks for this year than they ever imagined. Through grief and tragedy, there is hope.
