Needing excitement…

I do not want to spend the rest of my life drawing hearts in the fogged-up glass where I waitress. I'm ready for more, for excitement, for a guy who wants more than the typical marriage and kids, blah, blah, blah. Boring. Needing escape…

Ever since my last bad break-up I've been a love 'em and leave 'em kind of guy. But when Katie enters my life like some kind of beautiful vision of purity and innocence -- everything I'm not -- I want to be with her, and find myself doing crazy stuff like bowling and mini-golf and having fun. Except my dad has put the squeeze on my life, forcing me into an internship or I lose my trust fund. I hope Katie trusts me and doesn't start snooping because the work I'm doing isn't exactly safe and her life could be in danger if she gets caught.
