Escape a Killer — Judson Pentecost Philips

Blinded by an acid-throwing fanatic, Max Richmond, a famous newspaperman, moved to an isolated mansion in Connecticut. Peter Styles, a writer for NEWSVIEW MAGAZINE, sympathized with his friend's terror of a second attack by his unknown enemy, but not with his hope to exact revenge. Then, on a visit to Richmond's fortress estate, Peter fell into the center of a diabolical plot. The trap was not meant for him, but once in it, he was as helpless as the intended victim.
