Having spent most of her life in an orphanage, Leanne felt rather like Cinderella going to the ball when her unknown Fairy Godfather, Roberto Malaspina, sent for her to go and live with him in his beautiful home in Sardinia.

But although she was grateful to Roberto, and realised how fond he was of her, she did wish he wouldn't make it so obvious that he wanted her to marry his son Marcello.
