Elton's Case — Andy Siegel

Wrongfully locked up for a crime he didn't commit, Elton Cribbs's situation goes from bad to tragic. While in custody and being transported in a police van, he suffers injuries, which rendered him a paraplegic. Or did he?

Certainly, ever since then -- for the past decade -- he's led the life of an aggrieved wheelchair bound victim, seeking justice while rejecting pity. Retained now to litigate Elton's case, Tug finds himself caught in the unlikeliest and most gut wrenching of conflicts. After all, what's Tug supposed to think when the defendant -- the City of New York -- begins offering him millions to settle while maintaining its allegation that Elton is a phony, his case a fraud?
