Kim (martial arts Master with a Temper black belt) is in love again, although she doesn't want to be because she feels that the object of her affection (Mira) is far too good for her. Kim believes that Mira is too innocent, and way too trusting but, on the other hand, she sings like an angel and, every time she does, Kim goes weak at the knees. Yes, Mira might be angelic, but she's also spaced-out and zany â€" loony almost â€" what with her wacky tales of guard Harleys and ghost mice. But even celestial personages have their devils, and a particularly sadistic one is stalking Mira for reasons unknown. Without Kim's help, Mira is in real trouble, but will she accept Kim's protection? Will Mira be able to surmount a series of appalling incidents that threaten to send her mad? Can her innocence continue to exist despite the vileness engulfing it? It all climaxes on a cliff face, where the ultimate moral question is posed: How far would you go to save the life of someone who hates you?
