Dylan Foley wants nothing more than to forget about his mother's death and just be a kid for one night. Halloween is just around the corner, and he and his best friend Kevin have already made the important decision to dress as pirates. But now, Kevin is sick and behaving strangely. To top it all off, his father is furious at his choice of costume. A seemingly random encounter with the not-so-fictional Lost Boys takes Dylan on a strange journey from modern-day Seattle into a magical realm known as the Dreamlands. Together, they must seek out Peter Pan's lost treasure to cure Kevin of a mystical curse known as the Taint. Along the way, they'll be forced to face pirates, monsters, and the true dangers of refusing to grow up. Just when Dylan feels he has a handle on things, he must face the secret his father has long kept buried...
