When Ari Adams journeys to Oregon's wine country with best pal Jane Frank, she envisions sipping Pinot Noir on a gorgeous deck and staring at the sunsets across the Willamette Valley. Yet their arrival at Cascade Cellars to meet Jane's bestie Tressa and scout potential wedding locales for Jane is anything but relaxing. They've barely unpacked before Dionysus, the distinguished but pompous sommelier, is found dead amongst the grapes. He was favored to win the Master Sommelier title at the world's most prestigious wine competition, but more than a few people are happy to see him gone.
Tressa emerges as the prime suspect, and although Ari agrees to investigate, she soon realizes everyone is keeping secrets, including Tressa. Ari descends into the cutthroat world of winemaking, where suspicion is routine, reputation is coveted, and passion for the drink of goddesses and queens is a motive for murder.
