Pamela Comstock's semi-engagement to weak-kneed Nigel Raleigh interested neither party, not one whit. Luckily for all, Nigel's gaze wandered to the lovely dramatics of Flawless Fleur, the delightful French actress taking London by storm.
But when the star quite suddenly vanished, her dashing manager, Lord Breslau, joined Pam in separating the clues from the theatrics to find her.
Lord Breslau certainly was a disconcerting sort. By turns the jaded sophisticate and then the enthusiastic romantic, he acted out the most confounded flirtation with Pam. Even in innocence that kind of game might turn the head of a less sensible chit. Thankfully, Pam was not a girl to be so easily charmed...or was she...?
