Dream Island — David Lewis

It is 1587 and BRANAN, he has no other name, barely escapes from Dromsay, a remote and primitive island off the Scottish mainland. He is hunted by the evil MacCrannon brothers, known as the Wolves of Barroch, who terrorise the islanders. In London Branan meets Queen Elizabeth and gradually becomes a gentleman. But he never forgets his promise to return to Dromsay and rescue Catherine Kintyre. Catherine, daughter of laird Dugal Kintyre, was banished to the island because she refused to marry one of the MacCrannons. First, though, Branan must join Sir Frances Drake and fight the Spanish Armada. Branan's journey home will long and dangerous.
