Hired 1

You're hired. It's day 29 and Frank's out on the job with his fat partner Chase. The building they have been sent to inspect looks normal enough, but when Frank finds two men outside acting suspiciously, a battle for survival starts that will leave a trail of death in its wake. Will Frank survive his first month on the job? Find out inside.

Sample Content:
They stepped outside and were met by a rather strange sight. Two men in the rags that the beggars usually wore were lying on the ground doing something to the bottom of the jeep.
"Hey! You! What the [Censored] are you doing?" Frank yelled bring his M16 up threateningly.
The two men looked at him in shock. They both stood up at once and Frank saw what they were doing.
"[Censored]"
He let rip. Rounds poured into the two men as they fell to the ground in a bloody mess on the ground. Chase opened up beside him and the bodies jerked as the bullets slammed in.
"Damn! They were setting up a bomb! A [Censored] bomb!" Chase cried.
Frank didn't answer. If these two were here then there was probably a spotter and a few others around. He looked around the broken buildings. He couldn't see anyone, but he knew they were there.
"Chase. Get back into the building and get us some back up."
Chase didn't hesitate to oblige and ran back into the building. Frank went inside the building and peeked out of one of the windows. Nothing, he thought ... yet.

Hired 2: Downgraded
Frank is happily enjoying his life as a desk jockey in Iraq after nearly been killed on his last job out in the wide world. Unfortunately, the US Army steps in to break up his blissful new life. Frank is forced to become the command's pick up man and his first day on the job nearly gets him killed. This is another hilarious romp through the crazy war experiences of the self confessed laziest soldier in the army Frank Marks.

Sample Content:
Frank immediately noticed the bullet hole in the refrigerator when they entered the kitchen. There was cold mist flowing out of it and Frank could see various broken packages of different types of food through the hole.
"Ignore that, Frank. Just a little family problem."
The man held a package out to Frank.
"Here you are. Do you need me to sign anything."
"No that's ok. I'll just take this and be going."
The man nodded and set the AK down on the table before taking a sip from a cup of tea at the table.
"That's fine. Maybe I'll see you in better circumstances next time."
Frank waved and backed out of the kitchen before rushing out the door.
He made it to the gate before a bunch of men in a old broken down brown van pulled up and jumped out. He tried to fight, but they were well practiced and he found himself surrounded and with a bag over his head in the back before he knew it. Someone hit him on the back of the head and he was out like a light.
