Detective Walls is on the case of his life since he started working as a homicide detective with the Lubbock County Sheriff's Office, but others want it for their own agenda when teenager Charlotte Strum is found brutally murdered in a country field. Suddenly, a small West Texas town is turned upside down, creating a wave that rattles the nation in search of the killer. The suspects in the case aren't found - instead they are made, and their conviction is sealed by public opinion and the media before their trial even begins. Though beneath it all is a case glued together by satanic panic and political corruption.
