KATHIE FORREST'S LIFE WAS IN DANGER
Dr. Glen Carew had left the beautiful red-haired nurse behind in a run-down mining camp to care for a miner's wife who lay deep in an apoplectic coma. There with Kathie were the woman's teenage daughter, her ten-year-old son, and her husband -- a distraught man who reacted very strangely to his wife's illness.
It was not until the young surgeon returned to Calco County Hospital that he realized that the woman's husband might also be dangerously , violently ill.
Kathie was in danger and it was his fault. Glen Carew had to get back to the lonely mountain back to the beautiful, trusting nurse who needed him. He had to get there before peril overtook the unsuspecting Kathie Forrest.
