Joe is level-headed and rational. He neither believes in ghosts nor plans to see one. Yet, on his way home from a fishing trip cancelled by bad weather he passes an old man who he decides must need a ride. Drawing close, the man's vacant eyes stare through Joe. His pallor is disconcerting, spooking Joe into driving away. When car trouble forces him is stop at a house down the road, he can't escape the feeling that the ghost is not far behind.
