Displaced — A.M. Sanders

When Catherine went into the woods to hunt down a ghost she thought she would be back in a comfortable hotel room by the next night. She never imagined she would end up somewhere else completely. Alone and injured, she is found by a man who could easily be an extra in a period wilderness film. Thinking that she must have been rescued by a mad man, or someone who is obsessed with the past, she soon finds that he is telling the truth. She must figure out how to survive with her frontiersman companion, while trying to figure out who, or what, sent her to the past. Her confusion increases when she comes across a man who stands out just as much as she does, with a story all too similar to her own. Can they find a way home, or are they all just pawns in someone's demonic game?
