"Destination Unknown," is a compilation of some of Black House Book's most successful stories.
In, "The Black Gash," Ash volunteers for a simple courtroom renovation to earn extra college credits over the summer break. While preparing the aged documentation for the transition, he stumbles across a case that is nearly two centuries old. He doesn't realize the little town's history was deliberately obscured to hide an ancient evil. He finds out, too late, that he is next to carry the secrets.
In, "Taint," Lisa is trying her best to put the unexpected loss of her husband behind her. She was forced to downsize her life, to move to a smaller home, and to return to work. Her new bungalow isn't helping. Something happened in the house and something's wrong with her street. Her neighbors are paranoid, her dreams are encroaching on reality, and whatever lives in her house may kill her.
In, "Moonshine," Madeline is just relearning how to live normally after years of hiding the substance abuse in her family. Her family is developing a predictable routine and she relishes the simple joys that have eluded them for so long. The joy is short-lived.
There's something in the backyard. An addict finds a new substance and this one may bring about the end of the world.
"Destination Unknown," is an anthology of 8 short stories and novellas taking the characters, and the reader, through the outskirts of life and the supernatural.
