Desert Sunrise — M.I. Quandour

A young English teenager travels to Jordan to visit his famous author-uncle and finds experiences that catapult him to manhood. This is a story of passion, superstition and adventure against the backdrop if the Yugoslavian civil war and the romantic world of rural Jordan. It is also a love story revealing the transitory nature of human passion. Plot and counterplot are inter-wined in the drama of human conflict and relationships.
