Nurse Deborah Fielding doted on Dr Carr - until she heard him lecturing on Medical Research. How could a man who looked so caring and so good condone cruelty to animals? Perhaps it was just as well that her old-fashioned hospital was closing down and she would be forced to move to another job. She just couldn't work with a man who felt the way he did about something that meant so much to her. He was the reason she was going away, but, sadly, he was also the reason she wanted to stay!
