What does an ignorant slave have to do with a dead god and a dying manor lord?

The slave Korth, ordered to administer a quick death to the dying Lord of the Manor, breathes in the lord's final breath and with it the lord's knowledge, entitling him to inherit the lordship. A powerful sorceress denies Korth that deathright. She and an angry goddess both view Korth as a mere tool for furthering their opposing plans. As Korth fights those plans, he develops unexpected powers, but using them can lead to his death. He must find a way to defeat his enemies without destroying himself.

In Deathright the reader will travel with Korth back and forth in time through the Manor Lands' history, as myth becomes reality and the former slave tries desperately to outwit the forces arrayed against him and control his own destiny.
