Death of Abbe Didier — Richard Grayson

Inspector Gautier of the Surete is on the spot at two dramaticallydifferent episodes - the murder of the vicar at the fashionable church of Sainte Clothilde, and the theft of the Duchesse de Paiva's diamond necklace at an extravagant fete. As he investigates, he finds that the two crimes are strangely connected- as is a third, the murder of Ponzi, a valet.
