Joan Dingham is coming out of prison, and only one person is missing from her old gang, Diana King, who died years ago. But before Joan is out, there is another spate of murders, each corpse bearing the same markings as Joan's victims. Could Joan be responsible? Then Diana King appears out of the blue. She turns up with her throat cut, apparently dying twice. Joan returns to Windsor after serving a prison sentence for murder. A spate of killings complicates matters further.
