The old family mansion and estate were impressive but foreboding.
When young, beautiful Allyn Adams saw it for the first time, she shuddered. Marchallyn was going to be her new home, but she certainly didn't feel at all welcome.
Everyone seemed strangely distant and cold. There hadn't even been anyone to meet her when she first arrived. The only person who seemed willing to accept Allyn at all was Cathy, a small mute child. A child unable to warn Allyn about the terror locked up inside her mind.
For there was something sinister and dark being kept in the house. Something ugly. Something dangerous.
And then suddenly, one terrifying day, Allyn found out what it was.
