Dark Matter is the second in the Vigilante, Inc. series and picks up nine months after the conclusion of Volume One. The powerful psychic, Sylvia Swafford has been kidnapped into another dimension and her influence in her home world is wearing off. Xavier Key, founder of Vigilante, Inc. is going to have to finish up the building of New America the old fashioned way. Brute force. The story also follows Sylvia as she tries to return to her home world, only to be frustrated and guided by some unseen hand.
