Darci never expected to get soaked by a water balloon on the second day at her new school! When the popular girls find out what Nathan did, they tell Darci to get even with him. That's a great idea, until Darci ends up getting Nathan in trouble.

What Darci needs are some friends like the ones she had at her old school. When she hears about the sixth-grade Dance Contest, she hopes she'll meet some nice kids by entering it. Only problem is, Darci doesn't have a partner. Who could she possibly ask? The only boy she knows is Nathan. Could they ever be friends? No way!
