Eve Garner comes to nurse Liz Elston, a girl who lies paralyzed after a car crash, and realizes that Liz wants to confide in her. Liz's brother, who was driving at the time of the crash, seems uneasy. But Eve finds a way of communicating with her patient which leads to near tragedy.
