In South Texas brush country, sendero can be a trail or path cut into dense underbrush, providing not only passage, but insight into what otherwise might be lost to view. Cuatro Senderos is a collection of four short stories providing brief insight into four very different experiences - a summer job on an asphalt paving crew - the wandering of an elderly hitchhiker - a frontier grandmother remembered - a young woman's discovery of her family's hidden history.
