When a neurologist recommends brain surgery for his patient who is then left with a stroke, the family sues. The neurologist is shocked to find that the family's expert witness is the man whose fiancee the neurologist stole thirty years ago. Revenge becomes the driving force in the trial. The unfortunate patient is lost in the struggle.
