Eric James is about to find out! After a midnight encounter with the devil at the legendary “Crossroads” in Clarksdale, MS, Eric got everything the devil had promised: fortune, fame, multi-platinum selling albums, and guitar skills that would make the greats jealous. Yet he was empty and miserable, and with the barrel of a pistol in his mouth, he is realizing that the deal made for his soul might not have been worth what he gained in exchange! Eric knows he must get his soul back, but can a deal with the devil be broken? While helpful and accommodating before, the devil is no longer amicable, refusing to give up his prized toy without a fight, even if it means killing Eric in the process. As Eric begins the battle for his soul, he will find out the power that the devil is willing to use to prevent him from breaking their deal. Will Eric succeed before the devil can claim his life and his soul forever? Or will he learn that some deals cannot be broken and some people are beyond redemption?
