Counterfeit Love — Mary Mackie

Illustrator Judy Grant had gone to Devon to work, and discover how her step-brother had drowned off a nearby beach. She found herself involved with Darren, and was drawn into the fringe of the local artistic colony. She met Darren's father, an aloof, forbidding man, and despite herself was strongly attracted to him. She discovered that an old master he owned was a fake - and in a night of pure terror, she discovered that the picture was not the only counterfeit.
