Frank Cole has made lying low and earning next to nothing an art form. So a stint as an in-house investigator at a Tallahassee law firm with pal Jimmy Hanigan is right up his alley. The case involves a wealthy businessman who died after a family birthday party. Cause of death is a prescription-pill cocktail, but now his will is missing. And the question Frank and Jimmy must answer is whether the man's death was an accident, a suicide...or even murder?

While the victim's wife, daughter and son all had reason to dispute the will, Frank's gut tells him they actually loved the guy and respected his wishes.
