Months have passed since the incident at the Sanctuary, and Joyah and her friends have been stuck in the mountain village ever since. Now, having lost old allies and gained a new one, they must leave their safe haven and re-join the race for the Connarist necklace before winter traps them in. There's only one problem with that.
