Our friends, Joan, Joyce, Lionel, Robert and Alastair their brave dog are planning a holiday up in Scotland. And Captain Thomas has found a new friend; Sooty the rescued starling. Captain Thomas has overheard a conversation about a fabled white stag and he is determined to get a photograph of it to sell. By chance Captain Thomas is bumped into by a mysterious man and handed a briefcase. A briefcase containing top secret plans! Now some bad men want the secret plans back and they will stop at nothing to get them! A story involving spies, secret plans, and the fabled white stag! And for once Captain Thomas is a hero!
