Strength dwindles as the Talbot tribe make their trek into the Darien Gap, sixty miles of broken highway and inhospitable terrain through the sweltering Central American wilderness. Stinging from their recent losses, the group is forced to sleep suspended in trees to avoid the hordes thriving there, but that brings only a temporary, miserable reprieve.Pursued by the relentless Brazilian Army, they become entangled at the mercy of yet another military faction.
