To flee the past and her love for Dr. Craig Zimmer, a married man, Linda Greer accepts the job as Director of Surgical Nursing at Jensen Memorial Hospital. Her new work is pleasant and rewarding. Soon she is able to forget him.

Suddenly, Craig appears at Jensen. he has been called in to perform a delicate operation. The director offers him a job. Craig decides to remain and accepts the post.
