Patients arrive at I.C.U., and their lives are changed forever. The Doc in charge doesn't believe what is happening until it happens to him. His frustration with the bureaucracy and the suspicion of another doctor, leads Dr. Jack Douglas to go on a leave of absence and pursue a road trip with his girlfriend and their amazing dog.
That decision becomes another lifesaving experience. The Doc's enhanced ability to heal puts him in danger as others exploit him. Meanwhile, none of the characters are safe in this satire.
