Blood Memory: Book Three — Perrin Briar

The survivors head onto the land to get the supplies they need for their long journey ahead, and meet a patrol of soldiers from the nearby Burgh Castle compound. Almost back to their boat, the survivors are set upon by an endless wave of Lurchers. Trapped and held by the creatures, the survivors fear it is the end. But then one Lurcher steps from amongst the others, and the survivors realize their ordeal has only just begun.
