When Benny meets Babe he has met his match!

Benny may be a wise guy, but Babe is at least three steps ahead of him. And he's on her territory. A townie in the country for the holidays, Benny must meet the challenge of country ways head-on. Not an easy task for a smart alec who never knows when to hold his tongue! Then the serious business of earning money arises -- Babe just might consider Benny as a partner in her bait-collecting scam. But cool and collected as she is, Babe is not prepared for the problems thrown up by the fierce Furty Howlin!

And then Babe turns into a real girl -- what is Benny to do?
