On summer vacation from college, Jenny Sheldon is on her way to San Francisco with Professor Avery and his grandson. The adorable little boy will be her special charge while the professor teaches at the Center for International Cooperation and Understanding. But Jenny's mind is preoccupied with the news that her brother, a Navy officer, has been reported AWOL.
