Basic Manipulation — Albert Loren

Private investigators Freddy Larson and Robin Webster return in this story of suspicion, infidelity, and a deadly grudge. Three chemists work together on shared experiments, but their relationship outside of work is far from friendly. Two women -- one of them an accused jewel thief, the other the unfaithful wife of one of the scientists, both drop-dead gorgeous -- are also in the mix, and Larson and Webster have to figure out how they all fit together, who really stole the jewels, and whose secrets are the most dangerous.
