Bailey's Story — Sarah Hawkins

Emily and her mom have decided to go to Battersea Dogs Home to find the perfect present for her granny, whose own dog has recently passed away. Emily immediately knows that Bailey, the shy but loving Dalmatian puppy, would be a great companion -- and since Emily lives next door to her granny, she'd have lots of opportunities to play with him too! Bailey is nervous of his new surroundings at first, but slowly he learns to trust his new family. And when a burglar tries to break-in to Gran's house, this plucky little pooch leaps into action!
