A short story collection by Neil Munro, best known as the author of the "Para Handy" tales, but also the creator of many more serious works. Ayrshire Idylls features stories about Robert Burns, Boswell and Doctor Johnson, John Galt and two episodes involving the persecution of the Covenanters during the "Killing Times". Prior to its release as an ebook, this excellent collection was out of print for many years.
