Autumn Chill — Dave Stone

Our little town has been rocked. Family pets, night after night, have turned up slain or missing. The town is abuzz. Doors are locked. People wonder. Who could be doing this terrible thing?
My friends and I decide to find out, but where do we start? Why would they do it and who could they be? It's so hard to know.
My mom forewarns us, “Be careful boys, there's more evil out there than you might care to know. And much to our chagrin, her words will soon ring true.
