At the Heart of the Isle — Sheila Lewis

Carrie Finch is upset when she sees a newspaper appeal seeking her. She believes it has been placed by her late mother's family who abandoned her when, unmarried, she was pregnant with Carrie. In order to investigate her background and, if possible, discover her father's identity, Carrie decides to respond to the appeal. With only a contact address she sets off for the mysterious Macanrie's Isle. What she finds there changes her life in the most unimaginable way.
