Assignment in Venice — Georgina Ferrand

Free-lance photographer Rhia Stacey was given the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to collaborate on a book about Venice with the Marchesa di Stefano, who lived on an island in the Venetian lagoon. However, the arrival of Marchese Dario di Stefano, who plainly disapproved of Rhia and what she was doing, disturbed her new-found idyll, and more so when she discovered an attraction to him which could only lead to heartache.
