All the world's a stage and Laura Stafford is on her way to proving it.
The successful playwright from Down Under has been commissioned to produce her smash hit play Aspects of the Heart for an American debut in Los Angeles. Laura arrives in the States eager to meet the challenge. When she learns that an independent film maker wants to acquire movie rights to her play, she's over the moon. The elation is short-lived when she recognizes the producer as the woman with whom she had a short, intense affair. Facing Campbell Hurst after all these years brings back the heartache--and the passion--all over again. Nothing in Campbell's face suggests that she recalls the time they spent together, and Laura tells herself that's a good thing. It's a pity, then, that aspects of her own heart don't agree.
The incomparable Claire McNab (Inspector Carol Ashton series, Under the Southern Cross) sets the stage on this story of conflicting worlds and emotions with her trademark humor and insight into women's hearts.
