After Sou Hiratsuka, an acquaintance of 1998 survivor Mei Misaki, discovers that he's being placed into the cursed class, he and his peers develop a series of countermeasures to avert a new tragedy. But when Sou's classmates and their family members begin dying in a series of horrific “accidents,” he and Mei realize that the calamity has taken hold of their town once again.
