Ella is sad because her mummy has gone into hospital and may not be home in time for Christmas. Grandma and Grandpa do their best to cheer her up. They take her to see Santa. When he asks her what she wants for Christmas she tells him about Mummy and he promises to see what he can do to help. But Christmas Eve comes and goes and Mummy still isn't home.
