An Interview with Ben Adam — Joseph Head

A modern-day story of a young man whose normal workweek is interrupted by an assignment from his employer: He will be interviewing a mysterious guest by the name of Dr.Ben Adam. Aside from some basic talking points, no guidelines are provided. Suspecting this to be some sort of a hoax, the young man hopes to discharge his assignment quickly and return to his ordinary routine as soon as possible. His guest, on the other hand, has a different plan in mind. He is a man with a universal mission! The young man is exceedingly skeptical at first, even somewhat hostile. During the course of the interview, his bewilderment slowly turns to resignation, and finally a cautious acceptance. Meanwhile, his guest turns out to be friendly, intelligent, focused, and quite ready to step out onto the world stage. Feeling called to respond in some fashion, the young man initiates a plan to “help” his new friend with his mission. The plan is well-intended but somewhat naïve. (Or is it?) Once Dr. Adam observes that his young friend is in earnest, he takes him in charge and leads him through a "hands-on" training program where genuine progress is made in their mission. A lively and sometimes amusing look into the thoughts of a young man seeking reasonable answers to life's perplexing questions, as he encounters Someone who is operating on an entirely different and very exciting level.
