Marty Sawyer operated some sweet rackets from the Sunny Side Club. When he bled to death in a cheap rooming house, the police charged a small-timer called Second Storey Schuster, who'd been threatening the dead hoodlum. Schuster hired Preston to get him off the hook. Preston, who liked neither the job nor the client, was soon being threatened and pushed around. He decided it was time he started pushing back.
